Our nurse of the week who has been battling on the front lines and is recovering from COVID truly deserves all of the recognition coming her way.
Cathy Chao is an ICU nurse in Las Vegas, NV. She has been a nurse specializing in respiratory diseases and sepsis for four years in the Medical ICU. Her unit is the designated COVID-19 ICU for the hospital. Cathy is recovering from COVID, and is bravely working back in the ICU. She is happy to be back helping patients afflicted with “Queen Rona”.’

When Cathy isn’t working you can find her travelling, hiking, filming YouTube videos, and eating her fave foodie foods. She has traveled every two weeks for the last year, and she cannot wait to explore the world again (after the pandemic!).
